Enable the “Web Service” (WS) in SES HOSPEDAJES and create your WS user and password
Below is a clear, step-by-step guide to do it correctly.
Prerequisites
Before activating the WS, make sure you meet these three points:
- Be registered as a lessor on the SES HOSPEDAJES platform.
- Have all the accommodations you manage registered.
- Be able to log in with your Digital Certificate, electronic DNI or Cl@ve.
Steps to activate the Web Service (WS)
1. Go to the Ministry of the Interior's E-OFFICE: Here Find the section labelled "Access to the registry of establishments and entities" and click ACCESS. On the next screen choose how you want to log in.
2. Open “My registered data” Once inside, go to “My registered data”. You will see your entity's information and the registered accommodations.
3. Activate the Web Service (WS) Tick the box “Send communications via web service” and save the changes. This option authorises your account to send reports and bookings through automated integrations.
4. Receive your WS credentials A few minutes later you will receive an automatic email with:
- WS user (usually your NIF/CIF + WS)
- WS password
- Lessor code
- Establishment code(s)
Important: the WS user and WS password are not the same as the ones you use to enter the e-office with your certificate. They are different credentials, specific to automated data submission.
5. View or change your WS credentials From the section “Web Service User / Credentials” you can view your WS user, change the password or regenerate it if forgotten.
Data you will need to connect SES Hospedajes with Checkin Vacacional
- Lessor code (SES)
- Establishment code(s) (SES)
- WS user (SES)
- WS password (SES)
These four values are what you must enter in your software (for example, Checkin Vacacional) to connect your account and allow automatic submissions.
Common troubleshooting
The email with the WS credentials does not arrive
- Check the SPAM folder.
- In “My registered data”, untick “Send via web service”, save, tick it again and save once more. This usually forces the email to be resent.
I forgot my WS password or want to change it
- From “Web Service User / Credentials” you can change it manually.
Can I use a single WS for several accommodations? Yes. The same WS user can manage every accommodation registered under the same lessor code.
What format does my WS user have? Usually your NIF or CIF followed by the letters “WS” (e.g. 12345678A_WS).
Best practices
- Always activate the WS from the owner or responsible manager's account.
- Keep submission receipts and SES responses for 3 years if your activity is professional (self-employed or company).
- Do not share your WS user or password with third parties.
- If you have several collaborators, use a single centralised WS access and internal logs.
Mini FAQ
Is activating WS mandatory to use automatic integrations? Yes. Without WS, no external system (such as Checkin Vacacional) can send data to SES HOSPEDAJES.
What exactly is the WS used for? It allows two types of information to be communicated automatically and securely:
- The booking or contract (when it is formalised).
- The traveller arrival report (when the stay begins).
Where do I find my lessor and establishment codes? In the section “My registered data” inside your SES HOSPEDAJES account.
Quick checklist
✅ I am registered as a lessor in SES HOSPEDAJES. ✅ My accommodations are registered. ✅ I activated the option “Send via web service”. ✅ I received my WS user and password. ✅ I noted down my lessor code and establishment codes. ✅ I entered all the data in my automatic-submission software.
Activating the Web Service (WS) lets you automate the submission of bookings and traveller reports to SES HOSPEDAJES safely and in compliance with the regulation. It is an essential step to use Checkin Vacacional and simplify the entire legal management of your guests.
